Why Luther?

Some people have asked us why we named our son Noah Luther.
Noah - We want Noah to have hope in God and to bring that hope to others
望有 means, "There is hope!"
Luther - Mark's heritage is Lutheran. Though I don't consider myself a
Lutheran, I think I respect Luther more than most Lutherans! He was far from
a perfect man, but he did as much as anyone to bring three important Biblical
truths back to the world - Sola Gratis, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura -
(1. Saved by Grace Alone, by Christ's death and resurrection,
2. This is evident through Faith Alone - in what He did for us,
3. we know God and truth clearly through Scripture Alone).
